'The Apprentice' Atlanta auditions April 17, 2010. Residents of Atlanta and the surrounding area came out in force for a chance to audition for "The Apprentice," a reality show that depicts a group of people competing to win a job working for Donald Trump. The Atlanta auditions were held at the Marriott Buckhead Hotel and Conference Center. Participants were asked to describe how the recession has affected their lives and to explain why they would be the best choice for the next apprentice. I was called back but could not attend the semi-finals in California because I was on assignment in Belgium.
